How it works
- Install the extension and open its side panel.
- Drop in a file and pick an engine — the fast cloud pass, or the on-device model that uploads nothing.
- Copy the transcript, or export it as TXT or SRT.
FAQ
- Which languages are recognised?
- Both engines are multilingual and detect the spoken language automatically. The Pro engine holds up better on harder recordings; the local one keeps the file on your machine.
- Does it work offline?
- The local engine does, once the model has been downloaded: the first run fetches it, and after that it needs no network. The Pro engine is a cloud service, so it does not.
