Podcast to text — timestamped transcripts for show notes
Drop the episode file or paste a link to the show. Timestamps are on from the start here, because a podcast transcript is mostly used to find things: the quote for the newsletter, the start of each segment, the chapter marks.

FAQ
- Can I use the transcript for show notes?
- Yes. Copy it with timestamps and each paragraph begins with its time, e.g. [12:40] — paste the ones you need as chapters.
- An episode is two hours long. Is that OK?
- For MP3 and WAV, yes — there is no length limit. Keep the tab open; the transcript grows as it goes, and you can start reading at once.
- Can I paste a link instead of downloading the episode?
- Yes — paste the show’s Apple Podcasts page, its RSS feed or a direct link to the episode’s MP3, then pick an episode. Your browser downloads it straight from the podcast’s host and transcribes it on your device. Spotify and YouTube don’t publish their audio, so for those use the same show’s Apple Podcasts link.
