How it works
- Drop an audio or video file into the box above, or choose one from your device.
- The speech model loads in your browser and the text appears as it is transcribed. The file is never uploaded.
- Copy the transcript, or download it as TXT or as SRT subtitles.
FAQ
- Can I do this on my iPhone?
- Yes. Save the memo to Files (Share → Save to Files), open this page in Safari and choose it. A recent iPhone handles short memos well; for long ones a computer is faster.
- Does recording here send my voice anywhere?
- No. The recording is kept in the page’s memory and transcribed in the same tab. Close the tab and it is gone.
