Translate MP3 to English text — speech in, English out

With “Translate into English” on, the model listens in the original language and writes English directly — one step instead of transcribing and then translating. Turn it off to keep the original language.

      How it works

      1. Drop an audio or video file into the box above, or choose one from your device.
      2. The speech model loads in your browser and the text appears as it is transcribed. The file is never uploaded.
      3. Copy the transcript, or download it as TXT or as SRT subtitles.

      Languages it understands

It detects the spoken language by itself. These are the ones it handles best — pick one before you start if detection guesses wrong.

      FAQ

Can it translate into languages other than English?
No — the model translates into English only. For other target languages, transcribe in the original language and use a text translator on the result.
      How good is the translation?
Good for getting the meaning of interviews, lectures and messages; not a substitute for a professional translation of anything that matters legally or commercially.
